Lost Work of Poe?

Tue Sep 1, 2009, 4:45 PM
Last night I had a dream where I found this old musty book (I'm not sure whether I was in a bookstore or library). I didn't get a good look at the title, but I opened it up and began scanning the pages (a bad habit of mine with about-to-be-read books) to get an idea of what it was about. By the style of writing, it was clearly written in a 19th-century style, but the content was a bit disturbing. The entire book was written from the viewpoint of a man going insane by horrors that were either real or imagined (I couldn't tell), and it was done in a very similar style as Edgar Allen Poe's (you know how he could write them mad scenes! 0_0), though it was unclear if the book was attributed to him. I wondered if I could read an entire book -- this thing was in excess of 200 pages -- of gothic old-timey Poe-style paranoid schizophrenic madness, but then decided that it would be WAY TOO AWESOME to pass up and decided to do it!

UNfortunately, once I woke up (or ceased being in that particular dream), the kickass book ceased to exist, and I have to, yet again, be let down by reality. Damn reality! I hate those kinds of dreams... You know, when there's something really awesome, and then when you wake up you realize it doesn't exist in real life? GAY! >_<
:icondestroyplz:

Maybe Lucien, Dream's librarian from "Sandman", will keep it on hold for me, but he better f***ing not let anyone else see it, because that sh** is PATENT PENDING BITCH
